Haven’t posted in a while on this thing. Over my final semester I was in “Advertising Campaigns” for my final advertising class. My class had a client (which ended up being JCPenney), and we had to target women 24-35 years of age with a new campaign that would help increase sales with them. This is the cover of our campaign book. On it is two women from JCPenney’s corporate website, along with a redesigned logo that I created. We wanted to make JCPenney a little more “contemporary” to help bring in our target market. We also created print ads, direct mail ads, tv commercials, and various social media strategies to help bring in our consumer market. I’ll soon be posting up all the designs that I came up with, with the help of my great ad team.

This was a direct mail piece i did for my Ad Design class. We had to create a piece of mail that at least folded once, so i chose to do an ad for Nike. Everything on this was photoshop’d by me, and the image of the shoe & kobe were images i found off google. In the actual version, the two coupons at the bottom are detachable.

This is the mock website & billboard I designed for the Golden Wheat Campaign. The website was not coded, but if it were it would be flash based. This is what I imagined the front page to look like.

This was part of my final campaign for my Ad Copywrite class. We split into groups of 4 and worked on a campaign together. We chose to do Bud Light Golden Wheat beer. I worked on the designs for the team while my team members thought of the brilliant copy for all the ads, as well as copy for the TV & radio ads. These are the two magazine ads I made. The first magazine design I photoshop’d a stock image of some wheat into the glass of bud light.
For the 2nd magazine ad for the Bud Light Golden Wheat ad copywrite campaign, a member of my team gave me the brilliant idea to try and photoshop an orange peel wrapping around the bottle. Using all stock images I tried to make it a reality.

This was a direct mail piece that i did for my Ad Copywrite class. My professor gave us a fake company to advertise for. I photoshop’d the labels for the wine bottles, as well as newsletter.

This was an ad i did for Ad Design class. We had to redo an ad in a magazine that we felt didn’t grab the consumers attention. I chose to do the AT&T JACK because i felt i could play off its name. By using the “JACK” and the ACE, i created “BlackJack.” The blackjack table was a stock image not taken by me.

How’s it going? This is just a little test to see if i’ve got this thing down. Expect some of my work in the next posts.
